Recently, pictures have been posted from our coming products and we are incredibly happy to see all the overwhelming responses we get from the coming introduction of the cuffs. During October, the wrist cuffs will be introduced, and later during the year also the ankle cuffs. As for the collars, all parts are made in the CNC machine and should get a snug fit to the human body.
Below is a picture of the design for the wrist cuffs. The geometry is more rectangular to fit the wrist very well. The sizes will have a fixed relation between the measurement “Up to inside” and “Side to Side”. People are different, but very much hope that the cuffs will fit great even though, there will be trade-offs for most people to get exactly the measurement you want. Our coming size guide will give all the information you need about this.
Cuff sizes
The sizes in the webshop will be given as circumferences similar to the collars. The sizes should be seen as indications as the geometry is fixed and there will be a difference between the measured circumference on your wrist compared to the circumference of the wrist cuff. Two more measurements will be given in the shop and those are the “Up to Inside” and “Side to Side” measurement. Looking at the human wrist, the measurement “Up to Inside” is more flexible than the measurement “Side to Side”, which is a more fixed measurement. If you do a trade-off for the size measurement, the “Up to Inside” is the value that can be smaller for you to get a snug fit. The sizes are presented in the table below.

Cuff variants
For the collars, it has been possible to make your own design by choosing different materials. Looking back the last year, it is clear that there are some standard layouts in the selection. Introducing the cuffs, we will keep to these standard variants to make it simple. If there are special requests, we are happy to solve that for you by sending us an email explaining what you want. The standard variants are shown below.

Prices for the cuffs
All parts are carefully manufactured in the high precision CNC machine. We have designed a number of special tools just to be able to make this exclusive design. The price is more or less set from the time needed from the CNC machine and compared to the collars, now four large parts are needed to make a set of cuffs. This means more time in the machine compared to the collars. The prices set below are therefore just above the prices for the collars.

Special editions collars coated in Ceramic
During the year we have shown aluminium collars coated in ceramic. There are many colours to choose from, but the main colour we have used is white, similar to the picture above. The ceramic coating is something we would like to offer to all our customers. The colour map will be released on the webshop and if there is further interest, please contact us.
The price for a ceramic coated collar will be 150€ added to the original price. To get a pair of cuffs coated in ceramic, 200€ will be added to the price. The ceramic coated parts will not be kept in stock, but are made from customer orders.

I have a question: did I dream, or really read somewhere that you would make the front plate exchangeable? That would of course allow to have the same collar used with or without the ring at will. Or even change the colors… Thanks for all, anyway!

Are ceramic-coated collars, and handcuffs durable?
Or should extra care be applied to avoid the ceramic to rip off?

The ceramic coating is robust, but of course, if you get deep marks on the material, you will get a scratch. The ceramic coating is a layer on top of the solid metal below. The ceramic can be put on both the stainless steel and the aluminium products.
